Product Information
- All products sold by DMC Watches are of the highest quality and are
manufactured / supplied by ISO 9002 registered companies (or overseas
equivalent). All products carry the CE approval.
Working Hours / Dispatch times
- Monday to Friday - 6.30am to 6.00pm. Dispatch times are detailed above
each product / group of products - We usually dispatch all orders placed
before 4.30pm Monday to Friday on the same day. However, on occasion,
certain products may be out of stock - On these rare occasions the ordered
product/s will be obtained from our suppliers and delivered to you within 28
days.
Product availability / stock shortages
- 1) If all item/s selected within your order are out of stock and/or can
not be obtained within 28 days you will be notified by e-mail and your order
will be cancelled. 2) If your order comprises multiple items and any item/s
is/are out of stock the total order value will be amended to account for the
missing item/s. If we can not deliver the remainder of your order within 28
days a note will be included with your order. If a paid delivery charge has
been selected this will still be applicable.
Automatically Cancelled Orders
- Orders made with an invalid e -mail address will be cancelled. Orders made
with a credit / debit card that are not registered to the invoice address
will be cancelled. Orders we feel to be suspicious will be cancelled.
Fraudulent orders are always reported to the Police. Should we
receive a chargeback from our merchant service provider after the goods have
been delivered we will assume that we have been defrauded. All details
entered on the order form together with your IP address will be forwarded to
the Police. You will also be blacklisted from ordering at DMC & Co and
several hundred other associated on-line retailers in the future.
The above
measures are to protect ourselves and our genuine customers against the high
levels of internet fraud.
Product Images / Descriptions -
We try to keep product details up to date at all times. However, due to our
wide range of suppliers, product aesthetics / specifications may vary from
those show within this site. All images within this site are the property of
DMC & Co.. Copying without our consent will result in legal action being
taken.
Goods Damaged in
Transit - All goods are packed to an adequate level to help avoid damage
during transit by Royal Mail / Courier.
IMPORTANT:
Upon delivery please physically open the box / package and check the
product/s for damage during transit before you accept it. If it has
been damaged please refuse to accept it and ask for it to be returned
to the senders address. Once returned to us we will then replace the damaged
item by return. By accepting a delivery without checking it you are
accepting that you have received the product/s in good condition.
Undelivered / Lost Goods
- If after 28 days (UK) or 30 days (Overseas) from the date your order was
dispatched (this excludes Saturday, Sunday & Bank holidays) your good/s are
still undelivered please follow the following procedure: Firstly, contact
your local Royal Mail sorting office. In 90% of cases an attempt has been
made to deliver the good/s. If no one was present to sign for the delivery
they will have been returned to the postal sorting office / depot where they
are stored for a period of 5 working days. If after this period of time the
good/s have still not been collected they will be either destroyed by Royal
Mail or returned to us at their discretion (returned post can take up to 5
weeks). If the good/s have been returned to us please refer to the section
further down this page. If the good/s are not at your local sorting office /
depot please contact us to inform that your good/s have not arrived. Please
also include reference to your order number and the date that the good/s
were ordered.
Faulty Goods
- If in the unlikely event you receive a faulty product or the product
develops a fault within a reasonable period of time please return it for
replacement (or refund if within 7 days as per the Distance Selling
Regulations 2000). Refunds are made onto the card used for purchase within
30 days from the date the goods are returned. Replacements are dispatched
generally within 2 working days. Please enclose your order
number, your address, your reason for returning the goods and your original
credit / debit card receipt (included with your order) - If this is not
available please include your credit / debit card details, i.e. Card number,
Expiry date, Valid From Date (If applicable) and Issue Number (If
applicable). If after the good/s being tested by ourselves they are found to
be fully functional they will be returned to you. Faulty goods must also be
returned in the same aesthetical condition that they were supplied. If any
returned good/s are aesthetically damaged they will be returned to you.
Unwanted Goods -
Under the Distance Selling Regulation 2000 you, the consumer, have the right
to cancel your order within 7 days. The 7 days begins from the date you
receive your order. To be entitled to cancel your order the item must be
un-used and in a re-saleable condition. The product must be returned to us
at your expense. The cost of any loss of product / component of a product
during transit is your responsibility. All monies entitled to be refunded
will be credited once the item(s) has / have been received by ourselves.
Refunds are made onto the card used for purchase within 30 days from the
date the goods are returned. Please
enclose your order number, your address and the goods actually required.
Goods must be returned in the same condition that they were supplied. If any
good/s are returned damaged they will be returned to you. Please physically
try the product before returning it.
Courier / Royal Mail returned goods
- Should you fail to be present for your delivery our Courier (or Royal Mail
if applicable) will leave you a note for you to arrange re-delivery and also
advise where you can collect the goods from (should you choose to do so).
Our courier company also attempts delivery for two consecutive days if the
area is not too remote. If you do not respond to an ‘attempted delivery’
note the goods will be returned to us within 1-5 weeks (at additional cost
to us). Once an un-delivered product / order arrives back at our unit we
will re-ship it to the same address (as entered on your original order)
within 1 working day. The product / order will be double wrapped so proof of
the original failed delivery will be evident. A standard re-shipment charge
of £10.00 will apply (applicable to all returned orders); this will
be charged to the original credit / debit card used for purchase.
Incorrectly Supplied Goods
- Firstly, please see the following section: Specific Product Information
(Universal Products) and Specific Product Information (Carry Cases) further
up this page. If this is does not apply then good/s incorrectly supplied by
us can be returned and exchanged for the correct goods.
Please
enclose your order number, your address and the goods actually required.
